Singapore Kranji Race 30/10/2021 Betting Analysis

RACE 1 (12:00) CLASS 5

1st Pick: WAWASAN (4)
Can upset on the pick of his form and the booking of Hakim Kamaruddin is a big plus too.
2nd Pick: FLAK JACKET (1)
Old timer who is down into this company for the second time now. Bold show expected.
3rd Pick: LIM’S KNIGHT (3)
Ran really well last start and another win looks to be just around the corner.
4th Pick: HELUSHKA (2)
Drops back in trip after another 1600m victory but can handle it and is in good form.

RACE 2 (12:30) CLASS 5

1st Pick: ANYWAY (4)
Jockey queried last start when close second to Fort Mustang. Will relish extra 100m. Go close.
2nd Pick: LAKSANA (10)
Has been hitting around the mark. Trip suits. Has drawn an alley. Outside chance.
3rd Pick: ALEXANDER (6)
Strapping galloper who has not disgraced himself thus far. A bit of a one-batter but is not without claims here if he can overcome his wide gate to sit up close with the speed.
4th Pick: SUN CONQUEROR (2)
On-speed galloper who can be a big threat if he has things his way upfront, but may have to burn some petrol from awkward alley. Include in cacuations.

RACE 3 (13:00) CLASS 4

1st Pick: QAIDOOM (12)
Has done nothing wrong in three runs. Lost no marks at her first run in Class 4 company last time out. Commands respect.
2nd Pick: HEADHUNTER (3)
Holding form and has what it takes to give this a shake-up. Leading chance.
3rd Pick: ALWAYS INNOCENT (8)
Been running in great form bar the last one. Loves the Polytrack. Can bounce back here.
4th Pick: AL GREEN (4)
Not getting any younger but stuck on well for third at his last outing. Keep safe.

RACE 4 (13:30) OPEN MAIDEN

1st Pick: GREAT EXPECTATION (4)
The one to beat on the form book here.
2nd Pick: GOLDEN TIGER (1)
Better last time and can give the selection most to do.
3rd Pick: QIJI AUSTON (5)
Has every chance on the pick of his maiden form in this weak affair.
4th Pick: SUPER ATAS (6)
Has claims on form and can play a supporting role here.

RACE 5 (14:00) CLASS 4

1st Pick: BOOMBA (1)
Comes into this race first-up and gets the addition of blinkers first time. Trialled well with them and a big drop in class fresh.
2nd Pick: SPEEDY MISSILE (5)
Massive win at his last start. Drove through a tight run late and ran a very quick last 400 sectionals. Big watch.
3rd Pick: THE AUGUST (3)
Last two starts have been respectable and he is teasing that a victory is not far away. This is the class for him to perform in.
4th Pick: STENMARK (8)
Never too far away from the action in his recent starts. Leading jockey and trainer combine here and they must be respected for that.

RACE 6 (14:30) CLASS 5

1st Pick: BEN WADE (3)
Last-start winner from an in-form stable. Side with him again here.
2nd Pick: HIGH LIMIT (6)
In good order at the trials and has plenty of handy form to call on.
3rd Pick: OLYMPIA (2)
A place chance in a race like this.
4th Pick: DRAGON RYKER (5)
Barrier isn’t great but ran well in defeat last time he was seen in action.

RACE 7 (15:00) CLASS 3

1st Pick: SPECIAL OPS (9)
This horse has had a great season. In his last four starts he has put together two wins and two placings. Jumps up in class but can compete against these.
2nd Pick: PENNYWISE (1)
Hasn’t raced in this class for well over two years. His figures over this course and distance are very positive and looks a big danger.
3rd Pick: SENOR DON (2)
His last start was fair but did have excuses after being caught wide in the run. Drawn to get a more comfortable run and this is his grade to show.
4th Pick: SACRED JUDGEMENT (4)
Put together four in a row before being beaten at his last start. He didn’t lose any admirers on that run but has only had one start on the Polytrack, making it hard to work out.

RACE 8 (15:30) CLASS 5

1st Pick: ARION PASSION (1)
On his last winning mark of 48 now and has conditions to suit here. Leading player.
2nd Pick: PINDUS (3)
A 1000m specialist and should run another good race on second start for new connections.
3rd Pick: SUPER POSH (2)
Now 19 points lower than his last win and looks well handicapped now.
4th Pick: LIM’S PRIDE (5)
Fresh-up and has trialled well for this.

RACE 9 (16:00) CLASS 3

1st Pick: HADEER (3)
Looking to make it four in a row this weekend. Conditions suit with the rail out, which looks to favour leaders. The claim really boosts his chances and he is drawn well in five.
2nd Pick: SONGGONG HERA (2)
Has been racing behind some quality horses and this is a race where he can bring that form and be a leading player. Apprentice knows him well. Can figure.
3rd Pick: STARLIGHT (6)
Was a Group 2 winner against his own age three runs ago. Last start really caught the eye in the finish. Has ability and can mix it with this field.
4th Pick: STUNNING CAT (11)
Dominant win last start on the turf. Really broke away the final 200 metres but jumps up in class for that win.

RACE 10 (16:30) CLASS 2

1st Pick: CELAVI (2)
Speedy mare who is very dominant over this course and distance. Has drawn a little awkwardly but it takes a tough one to hold her out of leading. Hard to beat.
2nd Pick: ENTERTAINER (11)
Faded in the last bit last start over 1200m. This looks more his race and he is a class galloper who should be up on the speed.
3rd Pick: SIAM WARRIOR (8)
Last-start winner who jumps up in grade but does have good figures. Will settle back in the field and with a hot speed can finish off with a lightweight.
4th Pick: SACRED REBEL (3)
Has some good form from earlier this year behind some good sprinters. Has won a trial in nice style leading into this. To be considered in the multiples.

RACE 11 (17:00) CLASS 4

1st Pick: KASSAB (7)
Needed the run first-up from a break. Drawn off the track. Doesn’t have to lead to be effective. Strong claims.
2nd Pick: LADY SPRINTBOK (2)
Resuming. Ran below expectations at last run back in August. Nice low draw. Might be short of one run, but she can finish in the money first-up.
3rd Pick: ROMANTIC (6)
On the quick back-up after running on for second last week. Back in trip to 1000m. If they roll along, he can finish over the top of them.
4th Pick: COUSTEAU (3)
Ignore last run when trapped four deep. Worth better than that. Should be thereabouts.
