Singapore Kranji Race 15/08/2021 Betting Analysis

RACE 1 (12:00) CLASS 5

1st Pick: OUR SECRET WEAPON (2)
All of his best form (including win) is at this trip and this isn’t the strong race he is likely to tackle. Finds a winning opportunity.
2nd Pick: WINNING LEGEND (8)
Made up good late ground last time out and now races off a good mark. Stable had a winner last week.
3rd Pick: TRY MAK MAK (3)
Can get competitive judged on the pick of his form and has trialled well in recent times for this return to action. Place chance.
4th Pick: MISTER DYNAMO (1)
Well below par last time out (respiratory issues). Needs to bounce back and on the pick of his form, he can do that.

RACE 2 (12:30) RESTRICTED MAIDEN (2 AND 3 YEAR OLD) (WEIGHT FOR AGE)

1st Pick: DINAR (5)
Has shown up well in a couple of trials and Mark Walker had a first-time out winner for these connections last week in the shape of Qaidoom. Very interesting newcomer.
2nd Pick: DRAGON TYCOON (6)
A solid second behind good winner from the same stable on the Polytrack on only second start. If transferring that form to the turf, he is a winning chance in this.
3rd Pick: SUNSET (9)
Has trialled well and comes from a powerful stable. One to note on debut.
4th Pick: BLUE IDOL (4)
Fourth in the same trial as Sunset and connections will be hoping for a nice debut run.

RACE 3 (13:00) CLASS 4 (1)

1st Pick: TEARDROPS (5)
Never a factor in Group 3 3YO Sprint (1200m). Showed plenty of speed to win her barrier trial in dominant style last week. Will find this easier. Not without claims.
2nd Pick: WHISTLE GRAND (7)
Let down for second in 1400m race last time out. May find this a tad sharp but is still up for a place on board.
3rd Pick: SKY EYE (3)
Seldom disappoints. Trainer has found another ideal race for him. In fine fettle. Leading hope.
4th Pick: BUURAQ (1)
At his fourth trainer in three seasons. Recent form makes him a potential winner in this but his horror gate is a dampener.

RACE 4 (13:30) CLASS 5 (1)

1st Pick: GOOD FIGHT (4)
Fought on bravely after doing it tough at both ends at his last start. Only buckled inside last 200m. Longer trip is a query but the apprentice jockey claim will help. Can spring a surprise from nice low draw.
2nd Pick: TIGER LEAP (2)
On the quick back-up after his slashing maiden win last Sunday. Looked like he could go for another lap. No reason why he can’t double up.
3rd Pick: DRAGON RYKER (8)
Still a maiden but has shown significant improvement since moving to trainer Donna Logan. Looks more filled out these days. Drawn off the track. Can finish in the money.
4th Pick: QIJI DIAMOND (1)
Found Class 4 too rich. Nearly scored when eased back in Class 5 company last time. Stable in form. Marble one. Commands respect.

RACE 5 (14:00) OPEN MAIDEN (WEIGHT FOR AGE)

1st Pick: HERO (5)
Close up on the turf last time in a much stronger race, and on that form, he is a bit of a standout in this race.
2nd Pick: LAKSANA (1)
Fair effort when staying on in a Class 5 last time out. Has claims here.
3rd Pick: ALEXANDER (7)
Has form in the book on the surface but has stamina to prove.
4th Pick: QIJI AUSTON (6)
Best of the rest here and the stable of Donna Logan is in a very good form.

RACE 6 (14:30) CLASS 4

1st Pick: GOLD REWARD (9)
Superb record over this course and distance that reads (5:2-2-0). So on that, he must be highlighted, and he stays in Class 4 off a last-start win.
2nd Pick: LUCK OF MASTER (3)
Solid run last start where a few things didn’t really go his way. Can settle back but needs good pace on to finish strongly.
3rd Pick: CLERGYMAN (7)
Looked very classy winning his maiden in easy style over the mile. Looks to have all the makings of a stayer and this looks a nice race to test that.
4th Pick: IMA (10)
Another last-start winner in this field. Has done some things wrong in his races before but really impressed at his last start. Looks to have found his style of racing and can continue.

RACE 7 (15:00) CLASS 5 (2)

1st Pick: BLITZ POWER (4)
Proving hard to follow in recent races but is in better form than most here and once again, this looks a winnable race for her.
2nd Pick: JUPITER DRAGON (5)
A bit disappointing recently but is well handicapped now and is 12 points lower than his last victory. Stable in good form also.
3rd Pick: SUMMER GLITTER (8)
Showed a bit more promise last start and building on that, he is an each-way player here.
4th Pick: MINGS MAN (9)
A veteran at 12yo but he did win a trial last week and conditions suit here off a basement mark.

RACE 8 (15:30) CLASS 2

1st Pick: CELAVI (4)
Absolute speed machine here on the Polytrack and will be the one they have to catch. She almost broke a track record in her previous trial. Big go here.
2nd Pick: SACRED REBEL (2)
His best form in his career has come at this track and distance. Down to a suitable class and has raced in some good form races previously.
3rd Pick: SACRED GIFT (10)
Last-start winner who jumps up in grade considerably but winning form must be respected for a race where the pace will be hot.
4th Pick: WEBSTER (3)
Has been racing in some competitive races and has been placed at Group level in the past. Each-way chance at odds.

RACE 9 (16:00) CLASS 5

1st Pick: ETWAS NEUES (3)
Horse who needs to be hard-ridden to hit top gear. Extra 100m helps. Will be thereabouts when whips are cracking.
2nd Pick: ACE SOVEREIGN (2)
Needs more ground and the 1700m will be right up his alley. Handles both turf and Polytrack just as well. Fair claims.
3rd Pick: ENDLESS (9)
Often unlucky. Backmarker who tends to leave his runs too late. Cherry-ripe for his maiden win.
4th Pick: CIRCUIT STAR (1)
More competitive in Class 5 company. Should have a stronger say in this, especially with leading apprentice jockey Hakim Kamaruddin up and the handy barrier.

RACE 10 (16:30) CLASS 4 (2)

1st Pick: FIRST CHOICE (5)
Must be considered when he is back on Polytrack. Low draw will help him get a handy spot. Top three finish in store.
2nd Pick: GOOD LUCK CHARM (3)
Aiming for a three-in-a-row. Drops back to 1000m and has drawn off the track, but has the tactical speed to sit off the speed and work home late. Solid claims.
3rd Pick: COUSTEAU (8)
Winless in more than 1 ½ years but didn’t finish that far off at his recent starts even if he finished out of the placings. Scored his four wins on course and distance. Well drawn. Can finish in the money.
4th Pick: WINNING SPIRIT (6)
Trapped deep at his last start. Can make amends from better gate this time. Include in calculations.

RACE 11 (17:00) CLASS 3

1st Pick: GOLD STAR (2)
Very consistent gelding with nice form coming into this. Nice win last start over this course and distance, which boosted his already good record at this journey.
2nd Pick: HEARTENING FLYER (3)
This horse has a lot of ability. Pushed forward last start and just looked to be one-paced. Seems to fly home when settled back and can really grow wings late.
3rd Pick: STUNNING CAT (9)
Proven in this class in his career and last start ran a very strong second to his stablemate who will be well fancied here.
4th Pick: IRONCHAMP (11)
Rider just outrode them at his last-start win. Got to the front with cheap sectionals and pulled away on straightening. Can respect again.

RACE 12 (17:30) CLASS 4

1st Pick: ALL WE KNOW (5)
Remains in the same grade after winning in similar conditions last start. Stable is low-flying and this horse has been well placed. Can go back-to-back.
2nd Pick: RICVELO (9)
Has form at this distance behind some handy gallopers and with a nice run in transit, he will look a threat when turning for home.
3rd Pick: WINNING HOBBY (4)
Frontrunning style runner who steps up to the 1400m for the first time. Loves the turf and can figure here.
4th Pick: WEALTH ELITE (2)
Ran a nice third at his previous outing and the step-up to 1400m looks to suit. Should settle back and finish strong.
