MATCH PREVIEW & ANALYSIS

The Monday night game in the Premier League will see Wolves take on Everton. Wolves have been one of the best in form sides in the league and are unbeaten in their last 4 matches.

Bruno Lage’s side will be back playing at home and they have won 3 of their last four matches and have moved up to 11th place. There is added spice to this game because if Wolves were victors they would climb past Everton.

Wolves have been solid away from home but at home they have been poor with 3 defeats and 1 win from 4 games, although the good news is they won their last game at home which came against Newcastle in a 2-1 win.

Everton are in 8th place and have hit some poor form. They followed up their 1-0 loss at home to West Ham by being crushed 5-2 again at home to Watford. This was a damning defeat given that Watford have had plenty of problems this season. The Hornets were actually losing that game 2-1 but came back to score 4 late goals.

Everton has just 1 victory from their past five games and have also received a blow as striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been ruled out for an extra month due to his thigh injury.

There is pressure on just one team coming into this game and that is for Everton. A lot of focus will be driven on how the team perform in defence after such a terrible moment in the Watford defeat.

Wolves will be happy coming into this game and the players are really playing for their manager too, plus Everton have some key injuries out including defender Yerry Mina.

Wolves are in great form even though Everton have had some good results over them but at home this looks set up for Wolves and they will feel that the Everton defence are there for the taking.
